LV Switching and Testing AS3017 LVR CPR
Course Description:
Our combined course is for Licenced Electricians and Registered Electrical Contractors who have an obligation to carry out inspections and testing of all electrical installations and to undertake the local operation of low voltage L.V. switchgear, with the inclusion of the LVR & CPR Training as part of this course.
An L.V. switchgear is a combination of electrical disconnect switches, fuses or circuit breakers used to control, protect and isolate electrical equipment. Switchgears de-energise equipment to allow work to be undertaken and to clear faults downstream in electricity power systems.
Reinforce mandatory LV testing skills based on AS3017, to ensure your staff are competent to sign testing sheets and diagnose LV issues.
Competency in this unit requires the ability to plan and prepare L.V. secondary switchgear; operate switchgear; and validate, test and report on L.V. switchgear, Mains, Sub-mains and Final sub-circuit integrity.
Plus, you will complete the LVR & CPR Course.
