Course Description

UEE42622 – Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas is available to students nation wide. Our students undertake the Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) set of competencies, then undertake an extra 4-5 units of competency which we refer to as Gap Training.

UEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (Cert IV HA) training is the qualification that can be achieved by completing the following:
→ EEHA Skillset: Pre-selected units by Volt Edge (delivered face to face including Refresher upgrade options)
→ Online Units: Cert IV Gap Training **
→ Credit Transfer: 1 competency (from students electrical licence and transcript that hold a unit that can be used. If not you will be required to complete an online self-paced unitin gap training to meet the points requirements) *

Course Delivery

The Certificate IV in Gap Training is an assessment that is self paced and is studied through our online learning management system externally to our training facilities.

*Students have a maximum of 12 months to complete their assessments from release of the course material.

Pre-Requisites

*Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence and/or Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

*Upgrades and Refreshers – Previously completed the EEHA competencies within the past 3 years and have site experience

**Students that do not meet the pre-requisites can attend and gain a Statement of Completion (Non Accredited only).

Additional Information

This qualification is done in two stages; once the EEHA Component is completed you complete the Cert IV in Gap Training, which will give you the UEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical qualification.

A Statement of Attainment is NOT issued unless you have completed the entire training course.
