Communications and Network Topology

Course Description

This is our first unit in a series of units to introduce learners on how network hardware comes together with hubs, switches and routers using communications and messages and DHCP. Once you have completed this course you will be competent in understanding how this is utilised, some troubleshooting and connecting devices on an Ethernet network.
Our Industrial Networks course is split into a primary section (Communications and Network Topology) and a secondary (Protocols) so you can get an understanding of each sections importance and how they integrate into the overall control and management of plant and equipment.

To gain a Statement of Attainment, you will be undertaking an accredited version of this course. This means that you will complete both the theoretical and practical components of this course.
