Learners & Clients As Industry have requested all students refresh their competencies every 2-5 years, an EEHA Refresher course has been offered to meet the need. The EEHA Refresher course is for fully qualified Electrician (some hold a licence some do not) with previous experience working with explosion protections experience within coal mining, gas and dust industries. Students are required to hold either an: • Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Mechanic) or • UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician or equivalent • or supply evidence of completion of the pre-requisite units listed above How the course is delivered Delivery includes: ☒ Face to Face (optional) ☒ Online Volume of Learning The Volume of Learning for this program will comprise of: Option 1: (Online and face to face) · 40 hours of Pre-Reading · 18 hours of Supervised instruction including: o 5 hours of supervised theory instruction and discussions o 13 hours of supervised assessment activities (Written and Practical) · Up to 10 hours Capstone assessment (Online) including revision if required
Delivered in a 2 day holistic theory and assessment block with an online self-paced component before and after the face to face delivery. The core unit delivered is UEENEEM080A Report on the integrity of explosion protected equipment in a hazardous area, as it is a pre-requisite to many of the electives offered.
