  ***Course only available to Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence Holders*** Learners & Clients The EEHA Refresher (Plus online units) course is technically a professional development program for licenced electricians to expand their skill set. How the course is delivered ☒             Face to Face ☒             Online Delivery includes a combination of face to face and online training and assessment. Over years of delivering the course, learners continually supported the blended model as they have to take unpaid time off work to attend classroom training and many will simply not do that for extended periods. Our consultation from individuals and employers, resoundingly supports the blended model.   Volume of Learning The Volume of Learning for this program will comprise of: Option 1: (Online and face to face) ·         40 hours of Pre-Reading ·         18 hours of Supervised instruction including: o   5 hours of supervised theory instruction and discussions o   13 hours of supervised assessment activities (Written and Practical)   ·         Up to 10 hours Capstone assessment (Online) including revision if required ·           30 hours of online self-paced training and assessment (separately delivered to above) for 4 core units. Credit transferred Units Credit Transfer of 18 core units of competency that our student cohort holds as part of their Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence or Certificate III in Electrotechnology transcript (evidenced from). 1 Core and 24 Elective Units Delivered in a 5 day holistic theory and assessment block with an online self-paced component before and after the face to face delivery. The core unit delivered is UEENEEM080A Report on the integrity of explosion protected equipment in a hazardous area, as it is a pre-requisite to many of the electives offered. 4 Core Units (Gap Units) Delivered online Self-paced theory workbook and theory assessment. Notes: As per packaging rules: UEENEEG105A – Those holding an ‘Unrestricted Electricians Licence or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory meets the requirements of this unit and its pre-requisite requirements.
