Working Safely at Heights
This course gives a participant the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles where they are required to perform work at heights.
Practical and theory is delivered face to face over 1 day in our Brisbane, Sydney & Mackay Training Centre.
Upon successful completion you will have the skills to:
→ Access, interpret and apply height safety procedures and ensure the work activity is compliant.
→ Inspect/install fall protection and perimeter protection equipment.
→ Consult with authorised personnel to ensure anchor fall protection and associated equipment is correctly fitted and adjusted.
Industry Standard is to refresh your Confined Spaces and Working at Heights training every 2 years.
We offer a Refresher course for students who have completed a Confined Space and Working at Heights course previously.
Our combined course is delivered face to face in 1 day (includes both confined spaces and working at heights).
Refresher Training Delivery includes:
→ Brief introduction and refresh knowledge
→ Written Assessments
Check and monitor atmosphere in environment prior and during work.
Install and care for protective, perimeter and other relevant equipment.
