PLC – Introduction

Course Description

This unit, as taught by Volt Edge, covers development, installation and testing of programs for programmable controllers (PLC) for a system requiring discrete control functions. It encompasses working safely, applying knowledge of control systems, control system development methods, using ladder diagrams/statement list/function block diagram instruction sets, following written instructions and documenting program development and testing activities.Our unit shall be demonstrated in relation to developing, entering and verifying programs for programmable logic controllers.

Content Delivery

Both the theoretical and practical components of this course are delivered online in a self-paced environment.
As this is an accredited course, upon completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment.
